4335616Los preparadores de Rex Accelero han sacado un body kit llamativo, para  SLK 55 AMG , la verdad es que queda muy parecido al SL 65 AMG. Cambios en las defensas delanteras y traseras subiendolas alrededor de 2,5 pulgadas. Al hacer eso se consiguió más apoyo aerodinámico.

Una fibra de carbono para los labios y un difusor trasero se instalarán en los modelos de la producción final.

Este prototipo también ha sobredimensionado los neumáticos, los muelles H & R, y un motor estándar. Si bien no es el de la unidad de 400hp limitado SLK 55 AMG Negro Series, que es el mismo 5.4 litros V8, por valor de 367hp (270kW), pero con sede en California sintonizador tiene planes para introducir a un compresor y hacer que vayan más allá de 500hp (368kW) . Tal cosa es posible, el legendario E 55 AMG tiene exactamente el mismo motor, también con un compresor y que hizo 476hp (350kW).
